TERMS OF USE

Terms for Using Services.Contractors

These Terms of Use explain the conditions that apply when you access or use Services.Contractors, including our homeowner resources, project tools, contractor-matching features, forms, and business services.

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

Using Services.Contractors means you agree to use the site subject to these Terms.

These Terms apply to access and use of the Services.Contractors website, content, tools, forms, contractor-related features, project resources, and other services that refer to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the portions of the service that require your agreement.

OUR ROLE

Services.Contractors is an information and contractor-connection platform.

Services.Contractors may provide homeowner education, planning tools, cost information, project guidance, contractor information, and opportunities to connect with independent service providers.

Unless Services.Contractors expressly enters into a separate written agreement stating otherwise, Services.Contractors does not perform the roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, repair, installation, restoration, or other home-service work requested by users.

The existence of a contractor listing, introduction, match, advertisement, sponsorship, or commercial relationship does not make that contractor an employee, agent, or representative of Services.Contractors.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS

Contractors control their own services, proposals, pricing, and work.

Contractors and other service providers available through Services.Contractors are independent businesses unless specifically stated otherwise.

01 Contractor Selection

You decide whether a contractor is suitable for your property and project.

02 Contractor Pricing

Contractors determine their own prices, scope, materials, scheduling, payment terms, and commercial conditions.

03 Contractor Agreements

Any agreement for home-service work is between you and the contractor you choose, unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate agreement.

04 Contractor Performance

The contractor is responsible for the work it performs and the commitments it makes to the homeowner.

CONTRACTOR INFORMATION

Contractor information should not be treated as a universal guarantee.

Information about a contractor may come from the contractor, public sources, business records, third parties, or other available sources.

Unless a specific credential or fact is expressly identified as having been verified, you should not assume that Services.Contractors independently confirmed every statement about a contractor or its personnel.

CONTRACTOR MATCHING

A contractor match identifies potential relevance, not guaranteed suitability.

Services.Contractors may use information about a requested service, location, project type, contractor preferences, geographic coverage, availability, or other relevant factors when facilitating an introduction.

Matching does not guarantee that a contractor will respond, accept the project, offer a particular price, or meet every requirement of the homeowner.

TOOLS, CALCULATORS & COST INFORMATION

Planning information is not a contractor proposal.

Services.Contractors may provide calculators, cost ranges, measurements, project estimates, comparisons, checklists, or other planning resources.

01 Planning Range

A cost range may help you understand a possible project budget, but it is not a binding quote.

02 Assumptions Matter

Results can depend on inputs, property conditions, location, material choices, labor, permits, and other assumptions.

03 Contractor Verification

A contractor may need to inspect the property before confirming scope, measurements, materials, or price.

04 Actual Quotes Control

The contractor’s written proposal governs the contractor’s actual offer, subject to the agreement you make with that contractor.

HOMEOWNER INFORMATION

General information cannot account for every property or local requirement.

Home-service decisions depend on property condition, construction, climate, materials, local codes, permits, contractor methods, and other circumstances.

Services.Contractors content is intended to help users understand and organize decisions. It should not replace a site-specific evaluation where one is needed.

URGENT OR DANGEROUS CONDITIONS

Do not rely on the website when immediate emergency action is required.

If a condition presents an immediate threat to people, property, fire safety, electrical safety, structural safety, gas safety, flooding, or another urgent hazard, use appropriate emergency or local professional resources.

A website form, article, calculator, or contractor-matching request should not delay necessary emergency action.

INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT

Information you provide should be accurate and appropriate for the purpose of the submission.

You may provide information through homeowner project forms, contractor applications, contact forms, correction reports, partnership inquiries, or other Services.Contractors features.

Accuracy

Do not knowingly provide materially false or misleading information.

Rights to Submit

Do not submit photographs, documents, text, or other material that you do not have the right to provide.

Relevant Information

Avoid sending information unrelated to the purpose of the form or request.

Sensitive Information

Do not send passwords or unnecessary highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms.

MATERIAL YOU ASK US TO USE OR PUBLISH

If you submit material for publication, you must have the right to provide it.

If you intentionally provide photographs, project examples, testimonials, expert contributions, written material, or other content for possible publication, you represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide that material.

If Services.Contractors agrees to publish or otherwise use submitted material, the scope of that use may be described in the applicable submission, contribution, sponsorship, partnership, or separate agreement.

Do not use Services.Contractors in a way that harms users, contractors, the service, or others.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Site content and design may be protected by intellectual-property rights.

Unless otherwise indicated, Services.Contractors and its licensors retain applicable rights in original site content, branding, graphics, layouts, tools, databases, software, and other protected materials.

You may use publicly available content for ordinary personal informational use. This does not grant permission to reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected materials beyond what applicable law permits.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

Other companies operate under their own terms and policies.

Services.Contractors may contain links, integrations, advertising, contractor information, or services involving third parties.

We do not control every third-party website, product, contractor, policy, or service, and your interaction with those parties may be subject to separate terms.

COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS

Services.Contractors may receive compensation from business relationships.

Compensation may arise from contractor participation, matching or referral relationships, advertising, sponsorships, affiliate arrangements, or other commercial relationships.

Payment does not obligate a homeowner to hire a contractor and does not purchase an independent editorial conclusion.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

We cannot guarantee every result, contractor, estimate, or piece of information.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Services.Contractors is provided on an “as available” basis and may experience interruptions, errors, delays, incomplete information, or changes.

We do not guarantee that every contractor will be available, suitable, properly qualified for every project, or willing to perform the work requested.

We also do not guarantee that every planning estimate, cost range, article, tool result, or third-party statement will apply to your particular property or circumstances.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY WORK

Contractors remain responsible for the work and agreements they undertake.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Services.Contractors is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of contractors or other third parties merely because a user discovered, contacted, or was introduced to them through the service.

Project Scope

The contractor is responsible for the scope it proposes and accepts.

Pricing & Payments

Contractor pricing and payment obligations are governed by the agreement with that contractor.

Workmanship

The contractor is responsible for the quality and performance of its work.

Warranties

Contractor and product warranties are governed by their applicable terms.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms may be updated as the service changes.

Services.Contractors may revise these Terms to reflect changes in services, features, business practices, legal requirements, or other circumstances.

When appropriate, an updated effective or revision date may be displayed on this page.
